Free Tax Calculator NZ provides general-purpose estimates. It is not a tax adviser, payroll provider or Inland Revenue service.

Use the supported assumptions

Check the inputs, tax year, sources and limitations for every calculation. Results can differ from actual deductions or a final assessment. Do not use these estimates as a tax return or payroll instruction.

Your account

Keep your password private and enter only information you want to save. Password recovery requires the private recovery code issued when you create your account. If both your password and code are lost, recovery is not available. You can export or remove your data from My calculations.

Availability

Rates and features can change. Cached offline pages may use an older version until you reconnect. Review the date and year before relying on a result.
